This park used to be halfway decent but it is really going down hill. The roadways are horrible, full of potholes. They desperately need to re-gravel or spend some $$ and asphalt them. The concrete on most of the spaces are pieces of broken concrete. We did notice that the 'monthly' campers had concrete pads that were obviously redone. Usually, the over nighter gets the best spaces, but obviously here it is not the case. We won't be stopping there again.
We are KOA campers, but we will never stay here again. The people were anything but friendly. We are VIP KOA campers but they stuck us out in no mans land (grassy flat) right beside the storage units. To add insult to injury, we were also located next to the dumpsters and I know none of you are going to believe this, but at 1:15a.m they came to dump the dumpsters. Between the lights and the beep beep beep backing up signals, we had a less than a desirable night. Thank goodness we were just stopping over for the night, but I would drive another 100 miles before we would ever stop there again. All this for $50??????? I don't think so!! I just wish KOA would post real people reviews of their campgrounds on their website. We have been at many that we absolutely loved........we have been at a couple we will NEVER go back to again. We are full timers and just go hither and yon and don't have to be anywhere, anytime for any reason.
Nice park. Typical mobile home community with some RV spaces. We arrived at the busiest time of year (12/29). They have lots of activities for seniors (horseshoes/bingo/shuffleboard/swimming/etc.). My complaint is we needed to do laundry and four loads of laundry cost us $15.00. You have to use a card that you pre-load with $$. If you don't use it all, you can't get a refund. Office staff are very nice and friendly. We paid extra for a river front site but it was marred by a neighbor with his truck and boat parked right in front of the 'river view'.
